40 more houses have been yesterday handed over to the residents in the quake-affected zone.
The keys of the new houses were presented to the citizens in Balakan and Zagatala.
The events were attended by senior officials of the two regions’ executive powers and representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was said at the ceremony organized in Balakan region that 250 houses were seriously damaged as a result of the quake occurred in May, constructions were started in 237 houses and 164 houses have already been handed over to the residents. The keys of 25 houses in Katekh, Pushtala, Mahamalar villages, including Balakan town have been today presented to the residents.
15 houses have been handed over at the event in Danachi village of Zagatala region with the participation of the Ministry’s representatives. 498 houses were seriously damaged in Danachi village as a result of the quake. Currently, 425 houses are being constructed.
