The Ministry of Communications and IT says according to www.whois.az, 16,426 domains were registered in «*.az» zone.
Most of domains (15,278) belong to «*.az» domain. Others are the subdomains «*.com.az», «*.pro.az», «*.net.az», «*.org.az», «*.edu.az» and etc. 131 new domains have been registered from the beginning of 2013.
