“Mild weather will continue in the country on January 26.

According to long-term meteorological forecasts, the temperature is 7-8 C above normal for January”, Director of the weather forecast bureau of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva told. According to her, such weather conditions are typical for spring and observed in April.
Tagiyeva said that after the long heat wave in the last days of January, the weather will change. The temperature will fall 5-8 C compared to recent days. Thus, the temperature will be close to normal: “Intermittent rain is expected in the republic in the evening on January 27, on the night of January 28 and 29 till February 2. Consistent Mediterranean Sea tropical cyclones are expected in the country. For this reason, the precipitation will be intermittent.
North wind is expected to become stronger in the evening on January 28 and January 29. It is expected to sleet in Azerbaijan’s regions. Snow is expected in the mountainous and sub-mountainous regions.
