Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers made amendments in decisions on confirmation of samples of ‘Procedure for filling a visa blank’, ‘Visa application form’ and ‘Petition of a side inviting foreigner or a person without citizenship’.
The related decision was signed by Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov.
According to the amendments, the State Migration Service will hereinafter receive appeals and documents from foreigners and persons without citizenship staying in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days to register them where they live.
Moreover, a petition of the side inviting a foreigner or a person without citizenship will be required. This document does not concern the transit and tourism visas.
At the same time, in case the side inviting a foreigner or a person without citizenship is non-state organization, copy of certification on state registration of that organization and document confirming reason of the invitation will be required. These documents are not required for visas on transit, tourism, official and personal visits.
