Azerbaijan's freestyle wrestler Jabrayil Hasanov made his way to the world championship final in Budapest, Hungary.
In the 79 kg divisions the 27-year-old athlete earned the right to take part in the decisive fight.
Starting the competition in the 1/8 final, Hasanov first defeated Puerto Rican Etan Adrian Ramos 14:5, then Belarus Ali Shabanov 6:2, and then drew Iran's Izzatullah Abbas Akbarizarinkolayi 3:3.
The final rival of the athlete who made his way to the world championship final for the first time in his career will be US representative Kyle Douglas Dake. The encounter is due on October 22.
