The factor preventing recognition of Azerbaijan’s driving licenses abroad is eliminated.
The legislation is being amended in this regard.
Thus, the information in the driving license will be duplicated in English. The letters "a", "ğ", "ö", "ü" in driving licenses in the Azerbaijani language, which do not exist in the Latin alphabet, hinder the recognition of driving licenses abroad.
The project will be debated at the first plenary meeting to be held on February 1 during the spring session of the Milli Majlis.
