Azerbaijan mobile operator Azercell plans to change the terms of use on its mobile internet packages for SimSim prepaid subscribers from 12 February.
Customers using smaller packages, of 30 MB, 100 MB or 300 MB traffic, will see the mobile internet service suspended if they use up all the data allowance before the end of the 30-day validity.
Subscribers on large packages including 1 GB, 5 GB or 15 GB will be able to continue to use the service until the end of the 30 days, although at a reduced speed after using up the data allowance. This will be 64 kbps for subscribers of the 1 GB package and up to 128 kbps under the larger packages.
The traffic in all unused packages will be deleted within 30 days.
The new rule for subscribers connected to internet pack prior to 12/02/2013, will come into force during signing up for a new package after the expiration of the 30-day period of the current package. For immediate suspension of the current package and transition to the new rules before the end of 30 days of use, send word “imtina” (refuse) to 2525. If you don’t ordered new internet pack, either additional MB will be calculated according to price Internet use rate. Keywords used to subscribe to internet packages (MB packet size figures) remain unchanged
