Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov has met with local residents in Zagatala during his visit to the quake-affected zone.
APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports that the residents of Gozbarakh, Mamrukh, Jimjimakh and nearby villages attended the meeting in Gozbarakh village.
The residents asked the Minister to re-inspect their houses for reassessment of damage caused by the quake.
Heydarov said the houses will be re-inspected and the commissions will take appropriate steps: “If commissions decide to reconstruct the damaged houses, those houses will be reconstructed. The state will allocate compensations to the houses, which must be repaired.”
Heydarov said several houses in Mamrukh village will be inspected with his participation.
Following Gozbarakh and Mamrukh villages, the minister visited Chobankol village. Heydarov has met with residents of the nearby villages and listened to their complaints.
The minister has given necessary tasks to investigate some issues sounded by local residents.
Heydarov is expected to meet with local residents in Balakan today.
