YouTube was founded on February 14, 2005 by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen,Jawed Karim who are the former employees of PayPal and has become the go-to site for video on the web. One hour of video is uploaded to YouTube every second. Google bought YouTube in 2006 and underwent a significant redesign in 2011. The revamped YouTube emphasized "channels" for content and rolled out a bevy of new features.
