Alone you struggle, but team up with your neighbour and you can make a real difference in tackling common challenges: this is the message from a new cartoon to promote the Eastern Partnership, developed by the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre.
‘The Scarecrow’ is a 40-second animation, under the slogan Neighbours Connect. Featuring neighbouring farmers defending their crops from hungry birds, it highlights the importance of cooperation in achieving common objectives – a principle at the heart of the Eastern Partnership.
The Eastern Partnership is an EU initiative launched in May 2009, which aims to deepen and strengthen relations between the European Union and its six Eastern neighbours: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia.
