A total lunar eclipse will take place on December 10, Director of
Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory of Azerbaijani National Academy of
Sciences (ANAS) Eyyub Guliyev told. According to him, this act of nature
will take place on December 10 at 18.31. The Earth will be between Sun
and Moon and the shadow passing from the Earth will cover the Moon.
Guliyev said that Lunar Eclipse is observed 2-3 times a year: “It is a
very interesting act of nature. The total lunar eclipse will be clearly
observed in Azerbaijan”.
Observatory’s Director said the total lunar eclipse wouldn’t affect people’s health and mood.
