The festival of refugee theaters will be held in Azerbaijan. It was proposed by director of the Shusha State Musical Drama Theater Loghman Karimov.
Chairman of the Union of Theater Figures Azerpasha Nematov positively accepted this proposal. “We also had such idea and were planning to hold the festival this year. Due to the Experimental Theater festival, we decided to realize these plans next year. Today we can see refugee theaters nowhere else in the world. Only Azerbaijan has refugee theaters and we have to take care of them”.
There are four refugee theaters in Azerbaijan today: Shusha State Musical Drama Theater, Fuzuli Drama Theater, Aghdam Drama Theater and Irevan State Musical Drama Theater. They will attend the festival.
