The most popular names given to the newborn in Azerbaijan in 2011 have been publicized. Justice Ministry told that the name Yusif was mostly given to the boys, Nuray to the girls in 2011.
1418 were given the name Yusif, 1201 girls the name Nuray. Other popular boys’ names were Ali (896), Huseyn (868), Mahammad (610), girls’ names were Zahra (1059), Fatima (896) and Ayan (544).
