From today, mobile devices registration system started in Azerbaijan.
The system was established in the Information Computing Center of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.
Remind that since March 1, 2013, the information on IMEI-codes of mobile phones was daily submitted to the central base system by mobile operators. Prior to start of registration system, IMEI-codes of all mobile devices are considered as registered and no problem will occur in their operation in the network.
After the launch of MDRS, IMEI-codes of all mobile devices that were brought to the country from abroad must be registered in the system within 30 days after its use.
The consumers can check their IMEI-codes entering www.imei.az.
