Azerbaijan-based Bakcell Company starts new project within a program “Football with Bakcell”.
Company’s marketing director Aynur Abjanova said at the press conference in Bakcell Arena Stadium that Bakcell Company, which launched football grounds in the different districts of Baku, brings trainers of Manchester United football school to Baku: “we believe that this project will allow Azerbaijani youths show their talents and be a football star of the future. Through two important projects implementing with Manchester United and AFFA, Bakcell pays attention to development of Azerbaijan’s football. We have organized Manchester United Summer Soccer School in Azerbaijan. We believe that the youths having great potential and living in the different regions of Azerbaijan will contribute to the future of Azerbaijan’s football. Manchester United Summer Soccer School to be held in Azerbaijan is a unique project gathering famous brands, professional football, nice places and young people”.
AFFA Secretary-General Elkhan Mammadov noted that invitation of trainers of soccer school of Manchester United Club, selection process by them are significant event for development of country’s football: “I hope that the children selected within this project will be famous figures of world soccer”.
Note that AFFA will organize selection tours to Manchester United Summer Soccer Schools in Baku and more 4 cities (Ganja, Mingechaur, Lankaran and Sumgayit). 32 youths (ages 8-12) will be able to participate in training of trainers of Manchester United in Bakcell Arena Stadium. 5 of 32 youths, who will selected in accordance with the results of trainings, will visit Manchester City, see Old Traffrord Stadium, Manchester United Academy, as well as training base of the club.
