Baku to host 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in 2015

World Forum 1st Ministerial Meeting is being held.

Delivering a keynote speech at the event, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev said that the aim of the meeting is to discuss the preparation for the next event and adopt an Action Plan on intercultural dialogue over the next two years.

He said the 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue would be held in Baku in 2015.

UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser urged to enhance mutual understanding and activate intercultural dialogue to avoid hatred. Speaking about the role of social networks, he evaluated it as a new format for the establishment of close relations between cultures and people.

Representatives of more than 40 countries are attending the meeting.
