Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev visited the grave of Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor. The Head of State laid wreath on the grave of the national leader.
President Aliyev also visited the grave of distinguished ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva. The state and governmental representatives, MPs, social and political officials, representatives of diplomatic corpses accompany the Head of State.
Eight years pass since the late Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev died. The commemorative events have been organized in all regions of Azerbaijan, as well as in the capital Baku.
