President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended a ceremony to give apartments to journalists on the occasion of the National Press Day.
President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the ceremony.
Speakers at the event included chairman of the Press Council Aflatun Amashov, head of a unit at Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc) Batul Eyvazli and editor-in-chief of the “525-ci qazet” newspaper Rashad Majid.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the apartment block, and toured the apartments.
The Head of State then laid the foundation stone for another apartment block for journalists.
