President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated an underground car park between the Fuzuli and Mirzaagha Aliyev streets in the capital Baku.
The facility is designed to prevent traffic congestion in the area.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the Head of State of the technical indicators of the car park, which can handle up to a total of 4,537 cars. The three-storey car park occupies a total area of 21 hectares. The facility has modern conditioning, fire protection and safety systems. There are nearly 270 surveillance cameras in the car park, which has five exits and entrances. There are 17 elevators in the facility.
President Ilham Aliyev toured the facility as well as a park and a fountain complex above it.
