“Some forces try the electoral process to be left unauthorized, as it is in other countries” Chief of the Department on work with the local executive authorities of Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Zeynal Naghdaliyev said at the opening ceremony of specialized courses on election law for the chairpersons of Constituency Election Commissions (DEC).

Naghdaliyev said both the public and world community know that the elections are held democratically in Azerbaijan. He noted that the monitoring was held in the Constituency Election Commissions and the shotcomings would be eliminated with the CEC: “Problems in the precinct election commissions have been eliminated and we should designate larger rooms for voting and specify the voters list. Our voters lists can be an example for all countries. We tried not to isolate any voter and prevent violation of their rights. We haven’t received any complaint in this regard anymore. However, sometimes international organizations make fake statements without learning the Azerbaijani rules and local realities. They want this process to be left unauthorized, as it is in other countries. Local election authorities have been directly instructed on proper preparation of voters lists.”

Zeynal Naghdaliyev said in the previous elections the voting procedure was watched live via the internet in 10 percent of the polling stations, in the upcoming elections this figure will reach 20. "Transparent elections should be held in Azerbaijan. Our preparations allow this. If a voter's name has not been included in the list, he/she can get it added to the list till the last day. This is unavailable in most developed countries. We should do our best so that all can witness high professionalism. The world should see that democratic, transparent and fair elections are held in Azerbaijan," he said.
