President of Russia Vladimir Putin has visited Icherisheher (the Inner City), one of the world`s cultural heritage sites in Baku accompanied by his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
He viewed the Maiden Tower, a 7th-6th centuries BC monument.
President Vladimir Putin was informed on the history of Icherisheher, which was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
