The Ministry of Education has publicized the number of first grade pupils.
The expected number of first graders for 2013-2014 is 141,166. 74,998 of them are boys, 66,168 – girls.
Last academic year, this figure was 135,541 (73,182 – boys, 62,359 - girls).
