For more than 10 years, Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been holding campaign within Support to Education project on the eve of the new academic year.
Traditional campaign aims to provide the first-grade pupils from refugee and IDP families with bags and school supplies.
Next campaign covers the 2013-2014 academic year. Nearly 15,000 bags and school supplies have already been distributed among schools. There are 15 different items in the bags - books, three different albums, crayons, playdough, paint, scissors, pen and etc.
Over the past year, the foundation has also contributed to our compatriots living abroad. During the campaign carried out in 2008-2009, the number of bags distributed among first-graders in the entire republic was about 130.000.
