Proposal of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to mark the 200th anniversary of founder of the national dramaturgy, prominent public figure and enlightener Mirza Fatali Akhundzade within TURKSOY was welcomed. So, 2012 was announced ‘the year of M.F.Akhundzade’ within the organization.
Plan of action to mark “the year of M.F.Akhundzade” at high level is being developed in all member states of the organization.
Note that, it is considered to be held the official opening of “the year of M.F.Akhundzade ” at the TURKSOY’s headquarters in Ankara in 2012.
