Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the special boarding school No12 in Khazar District, the summer camp of orphanage No1 in Shuvalan settlement, the psycho-neurological orphanage in Narimanov District and the Downs Syndrome Association in the capital on September 30.

Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva first visited special boarding school No12 in Khazar District. Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva were informed that the facility educates paralyzed children since 1969. The facility was repaired on the initiative of First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in 2010. The boarding school serves up to 141 children of 6-14 ages.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva talked to the children prior to making them gifts of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The same day, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the summer camp of the orphanage No1 in Shuvalan settlement.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have talked to children and watched their dance performances.

It was informed that the facility was reconstructed in 2013. All necessary conditions were created here for recreation and entertainment of children.

They had a joint tea party with children.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva also visited orphanage No1 in the capital’s Nasimi District. They were informed that the facility which was built in 1930 was reconstructed and remodeled in 2005 on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva talked to the children.

As stated, the facility serves up to 39 children. Children of the orphanage were presented gifts of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva then visited the psycho-neurological orphanage in Narimanov District of Baku.

They were informed that the facility was reconstructed on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2009. A medical staff consisting of about 90 persons serves 103 children here. Children were presented gifts of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva also visited the Downs Syndrome Association in the capital. It was informed that the aim of the facility which serves up to 96 children is to provide children’s rehabilitation and integration to the society. Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva watched children’s dance performances.
