Education minister Mikayil Jabbarov noted that the student hostel project to accommodate one thousand students in the center of the city has been launched with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation positively responding to the initiative.
"This project is another example of the state and private sector partnership. The project design has been completed and construction is to kick off soon. The modern student hostel will be built in compliance with modern standards of life.”
The Education minister noted that the new hostel will be constructed in the areas of the respective state universities, especially in the territory in the balance of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry: “But this project has its own feature. We will pursue such a policy that not only students of the State University of Oil and Industry but also other universities whose students are in need will have possibility to accommodate their students according to relevant quotas,” added the minister.
