Two Chinese men have claimed to make new and unique world record where
they encased themselves in an ice for at least two hours, the ice case
was transparent.
Chen Kecai and Jin Songhao entered the transparent boxes wearing just a
pair of swimming trucks. Assistants then filled the boxes with ice
cubes. Doctors attached electronic devices to the competitors’ chests to
monitor their vital signs during the challenge.
Mr. Chen remained inside the ice box for 118 minutes, he was pulled out
from the box as his body temperature fallen down by the medics. But Mr.
Jin stood for 120 minutes and he was quite well as got out from the ice
box. These both men have clinched the previous record by 51-year-old Wim
Hof from Holland who remained for 115 minutes prior to this week. Chen
and Jin are now new world record holder could claim to remain in giant
ice lumps for at least two hours.
