The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan is participating in the CeBIT-2011 international information technology exhibition held in Hanover on March 6-10.
The main sections of the exhibition this year will focus on IT-infrastructure, business processes, communications, telematics and navigation systems, transport and logistics sector, public consumption, trade mediation between buyers and sellers, the Internet and mobile communications, banking and finance, consumer electronics. A distinctive feature of the CeBIT-2012 exhibition will be a greater focus on consumer of information and communications industry product.

Scientists Identify Two new Blood Types
  
Researchers at the University of Vermont have made a discovery that could save the lives of thousands of people. They`ve identified two new blood types called Langereis and Junior. They revealed their findings in the February issue of Nature Genetics. A patient being able to know whether or not they have one of the two rare blood types could be the difference between life and death when it comes to organ transplants and blood transfusions. According to researcher Bryan Ballif, complications from Langereis and Junior blood types are uncommon, but certain ethnicities such as the Japanese have an increased risk.
